Ms. Claudia P. Moreno is an associate in the law firm of Bratter Krieger LLP based in the Firm's Miami office. She is a member of the Immigration Department and concentrates in Business Immigration. She has represented numerous employers and employees in obtaining temporary nonimmigrant visas for multinational managers and executives (L-1A/L-1B), treaty investors and traders (E-1/E-2), professionals (H-1B), professionals under the Free Trade Agreements with Chile (H-1B1 FTA), non-agricultural workers (H-2B), fashion models of national and international acclaim (H-1B3), individuals with extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics (O-1) and athletes and entertainment groups (P-1). Ms. Moreno has also represented employers and employees in obtaining permanent labor certifications before the United States Department of Labor and permanent resident status for investors under the EB-5 immigrant visa program, professionals, multinational managers and executives and other priority workers. Ms. Moreno is admitted to practice in the State of Louisiana and in Colombia. She received her LLM in International Business from American University, Washington College of Law (2000); her Juris Doctor degree from Universidad Externado de Colombia, Bogotá, Colombia (J.D., 1998). She was also awarded a Diploma in Commercial Advanced Law from Universidad Externado de Colombia, Bogotá, Colombia, (1999); and a Diploma in Legal English and Business from Universidad del Rosario, Bogotá, Colombia (1999).
